Cookies
What this site stores in the browser.
This page describes cookies and similar storage used by Cognit Meridian. It was last revised on 1 September 2026. The privacy notice is at Privacy.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to keep and send back later. Similar technologies include localStorage, which stays on the device and is not sent automatically with every request. Cognit Meridian uses localStorage for the consent choice and does not set an analytics cookie.
Types we use
Essential storage is the consent flag that remembers Accept or Reject so the banner does not return on every page. Analytics cookies, which would count visits, are not in use on this site. Advertising cookies are not in use. If that changes, this page and the banner will be updated before any new cookie is set.
Storage table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| cognitmeridian-cookie-consent | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies. The value is the word accept or reject. The site works fully with either value. This item is stored in localStorage, not as an HTTP cookie. | Until you clear site data for cognitmeridian.click | Cognit Meridian |
Third-party requests
Pages request typefaces from Google Fonts. That request can expose your IP address to Google and may involve cookies set by Google on fonts.gstatic.com or fonts.googleapis.com, depending on your browser and Google's own policies. Cognit Meridian does not read those cookies. No other third-party advertising or analytics scripts are embedded.
How to manage or disable storage
Use the Accept or Reject buttons on the banner. Rejecting stores the refusal and does not lock any page, form, or sitting. You can also remove the item yourself: in your browser settings, clear site data or local storage for cognitmeridian.click. Blocking all cookies in the browser will not remove localStorage by itself; clear site data if you want the banner to appear again.
Impact of disabling
If you reject, or if you clear storage, the only change on this site is that the banner may show again. Readings, rates, and the desk form stay available. Blocking Google Fonts may cause the page to fall back to Georgia and a standard sans-serif; the words remain readable. Disabling storage does not cancel a booking you already made by email.
